1. Not financial advice

wafergraph is an independent, educational and informational resource only. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, or accounting advice, a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or other financial instrument, and nothing here should be relied upon for any investment decision. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and no advisory relationship is created by your use of the Site. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making any financial decision.

2. The paid reviews

Alongside the free Site, wafergraph sells hand-delivered analytical reviews: you send a list (vendors or portfolio holdings) and receive a written report scoring that list against the semiconductor and AI hardware supply chain, plus a working session to go through it. Current offerings and pricing are described on /pro.

Each engagement is governed by a signed Statement of Work setting out the exact scope, fee, and delivery date before any work begins or any data changes hands; these Terms apply in addition to, not in place of, that Statement of Work. The delivered report is licensed for internal distribution within the buyer's organization — you may circulate it to your own colleagues and leadership — but it may not be redistributed, resold, or published outside your organization without wafergraph's written permission.

Your data stays yours. Any list or other material you provide is used only to produce your review, is kept confidential, and is never folded into wafergraph's public dataset or disclosed to any third party.

As with the rest of the Site (Section 1 above), a review is informational and research-only — not investment advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Findings are drawn from public disclosure and wafergraph's curated dataset; where a relationship cannot be verified, the review flags it as unverified rather than asserting it. Payment terms (a fixed fee, invoiced on delivery) are set out in the Statement of Work for each engagement.

3. The deal simulator and estimates

The deal simulator, market-share figures, "winners/losers," "bottlenecks," materiality, directional reads, measured historical reactions, and any modeled or estimated outputs are hypothetical, model-generated illustrations derived from public data and supply-chain structure. They are not predictions or forecasts of stock prices, company performance, or deal outcomes. Where historical stock reactions to past deals are shown, past performance is not indicative of future results, samples are small, and moves may reflect confounding events unrelated to the deal. Do not trade on them.

4. No warranty; accuracy

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Data is aggregated from third-party public sources (e.g., SEC EDGAR, Wikidata, Wikipedia, GLEIF, and price data) and may be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors; market-share and many financial figures are estimates. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, wafergraph and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including any trading or investment losses — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. For any purchase made on the Site, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us. You use the Site entirely at your own risk.

6. Intellectual property & trademarks

Company names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used on the Site for identification and descriptive purposes only (nominative fair use). wafergraph is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company featured. Source data carries the licenses of its providers (e.g., Wikipedia content under CC BY-SA; Wikidata under CC0); see our data attribution.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it in a way that burdens infrastructure, or use its content to mislead others or imply endorsement. Automated access should respect robots.txt.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sources and websites for attribution and reference. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy & Disclaimer notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time; changes take effect when posted, with the "last updated" date stamp above revised. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
